History of La Misericordia

La Misericordia S.A was founded in October 2012 with the purpose of becoming a superfood supplier company.

We produce different types of seeds such as organic chia, conventional black chia, withe confectionary sesame and oily white sesame. We have clients in the most competitive markets in the world, such as North America, Europe and Asia. We ensure our quality with the strictest control processes. The founders of the Ramón Fariña Company, Jorge Gabaglio and Luis Macci, began by producing seeds and later adding other valuable characteristics such as seed processing and marketing.

We grow the seeds on our lands with other agricultural producers in San Pedro, Concepción, Canindeyú, Amambay and the Chaco region, located in the north of Paraguay, 530 km from the capital city, Asunción. with the best climatic characteristics for seed production.

Our facilities are designed and built in accordance with the quality standards and parameters of HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points) and FDA GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices).

The company covers over 3000m2, including a grain silo with a storage capacity of 2500MT and assisted ventilation. This enables the control of seed temperature and humidity levels, ensuring their high quality.

The plant’s infrastrure includes

- Pre-cleaning and seed sorting system.

- Final product storage area.
